Unlimited Recovery relies on a lot of the parking lot management services that we offer. Illegal parking lot management plays a huge role in the services that we offer. That doesn’t necessarily make everyone happy. Unfortunately, visitors can often see that in our reviews. We’re NOT the most loved company, nor do we perform one of those services that people are likely to glow about. No one writes happy things about how wonderful the IRS is when they are informed that they owe a few thousand more. We’re right there. We are darned efficient at what we do.
Many local parking lot owners and businesses hire Unlimited to ensure that cars that are taking up their parking lot spaces are indeed customers in THEIR stores. While we all wish this was a perfect world, it isn’t. Businesses that have only 8 parking spaces fill those spaces fast – and just a few “Oh, I was just running next door to…<fill in the blank>” CAN make quite a difference to a small business bottom line. Sure it would be great if everyone could just turn their head and let it go, but many times, it just isn’t the case.
In this economy with prices everywhere as they are, losing ANY potential client for your business can be a very costly issue. Losing a single client that might be coming through the door to spend potentially even a few dollars on up to THOUSANDS of dollars in your store or on your services is just a kick in the teeth? Why might that happen? Because someone decided a spot in YOUR parking lot was the best place to “just run next door for a minute” to grab a $3 cup of coffee? NOT acceptable. If you are a business owner, you understand exactly what we are talking about. IF you’re NOT a business owner, we would ask you to think about it the next time you go downtown or decide to park someplace marked or even questionable.
For this reason, we often get absolutely nailed to the wall in our reviews. We’re probably right up there with the IRS when it comes to the public loving us according to a LOT of our reviews. People tend to get pretty hot when their car is being towed down the road and we just have to take it in stride. We are often approached with outright hostility and do our best to control the situation. Doesn’t always go as well as we would hope, but not surprisingly, most customers are not nearly as pleasant as they make themselves try to sound in their “reviews” of our services either. Many of the times in these reviews, you’ll even see that they disclose that they DID know they were parking illegally – to run next door and grab the cup of $3 coffee or some such thing – to “just run in for a minute.”
It is what it is and hope people understand that, even when a service is disliked, it does have to be performed. Our customers do appreciate our services and we appreciate them. We also appreciate the people who DO call us even in the face of a lot of negativity that comes our way.
